Google Search Console MCP

First-party search performance data for AI assistants

What is Google Search Console MCP?

Exposes your own Search Console data as tools an assistant can query directly, turning filtered exports into a single sentence. Free, and the highest-value starting point for most SEO workflows because the data is measured rather than modelled.

Requirements: A verified Search Console property and a Google account with access to it. OAuth sign-in required.

Covers impressions, clicks, average position and query-level performance for properties you own. The practical use is questions that are tedious in the UI, like pulling every query ranking between positions 8 and 15 with more than 500 impressions.

The important distinction is that this is first-party data. Search Console reports what actually happened on your property. Third-party tools like Ahrefs and Semrush model their figures from clickstream panels and proprietary formulas. An assistant with both connected will merge them into one confident paragraph unless you specify which source you want.

Read-only. It reports, it does not change anything on your site.
