DaVinci Resolve

Widely described as the best free AI video editor, which is half right. The free version is an excellent editor. It is not an AI one. Magic Mask, Voice Isolation and the Neural Engine features all require the $295 Studio licence.

That does not make Studio poor value. Against a subscription editor at roughly $23 a month, a one-time $295 pays for itself in about 14 months, and there is no renewal after that.

The distinction matters because it catches people out. Downloading free Resolve expecting the AI toolkit produces immediate confusion. Decide which version you need before installing.
