What is Salesforce MCP?
Exposes Salesforce objects to an assistant, covering pipeline, leads, opportunities and lead source. Supports read and write, so scope credentials carefully.
Requirements: A Salesforce org and a connected app or user with scoped object permissions.
The CRM is what makes ad connectors worth having. An ads server tells you what you spent. Salesforce tells you what that spend became, and connecting the two is where attribution questions stop being arguments.
Because it supports write access, restrict what the connected credential can modify. Read-only for reporting is the sensible default.
